One of the signs of a well kept community is the accessibility of parks in the area. The natural beauty of New York is something to be preserved and treasured. The parks of White Plains is just one more reason why homes for sale here are in demand. Great for gatherings or just relaxation, the parks of White Plains are where you can mingle with the rest of the community.

Baldwin Farm – Not forgetting White Plains past as a farming community, Baldwin farms offers community garden beds where residents can obtain a plot and plant what they wish. A great place to just wander, Baldwin Farm offers a fun and educational atmosphere. Located on Hall Ave.

Bark Park – Our furry residents have not been neglected in White Plains. You’ll find this wonderful dog park on Main Street. There is an exclusive area set aside specifically for young and small dogs.

Battle Hill Park – This park offers a ballfield, basketball court, playground and a tennis court. Located on Main Street.

Battle-Whitney Park – An important part of our history, Battle-Whitney Park marks the location of the Battle of White Plains. There is a map detailing the battle. You will also find a playground and checker tables in this lovely park located on Chatterton’s Hill.

Bryant-Mamaroneck Park – Another historical site, this park is a community favorite for walking and biking.

Chatterton Playground – Recently renovated, this charming park offers a basketball court and a playground for the little ones.
 
Delfino Park – This beautiful park can be found on Lake Street. There’s something for everyone here. You’ll find a playground and softball fields, tennis courts, Har-Tru courts, and more.
 
Druss Park – Find this lovely, simple park on Prospect and South Lexington Avenues across from St. Bartholomew’s Church. It’s a nice place to relax, watch your children at the playground and just enjoy the green patch in the middle of the busy city.
 
Gardella Park – This wonderful park can be found on Ferris Ave. This park is a favorite especially during summer months when you can enjoy the Kittrell pools. You can also enjoy the basketball courts and playground equipment. The pool is free if you live in White Plains. Just another perk to owning a White Plains home.
 
Gillie Park – Another park with a lot of great features. This is the home of the Recreation Administration Offices in case you’d like to sign up for one of the recreational programs offered by the park system. You’ll also find a basketball court, a toddler safe playground, the recreation room, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, Har-Tru Court. Find this park on Gedney Way and Mamaroneck Avenue.
 
Jacob Purdy  Park – This park is home to a significant house in New York’s history: the Jacob Purdy House. Used by Washington as a headquarters during the battle of Chatteron Hill. Visit the house and enjoy the surrounding area.
 
Liberty Park – Found along the shores of Silver Lake, enjoy a picnic here at  Liberty Park. A great way to enjoy and afternoon or a weekend.
 
Renaissance Plaza – White Plains is in the midst of a rebirth and Renaissance Plaza is at the center of it. Located on Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street, you can enjoy the day at Renaissance Plaza. The Plaza is beset with fountains and benches, and you can frequently catch performances by theater groups and musicians.
